1918- The Bolsheviks Red Army seizes Kiev, (eerie writing this in 2022) the capital of Ukraine.
1941- President Roosevelt establishes the Coast Guard Reserve on the 19th and sends war planes & battleships to the pacific on the 20th, setting the pieces in place for what would lead to the attack on Pearl Harbor.
1965- Ranger VIII lands on the moons surface after taking more than 7,000 photos.
